project 11 : exhibition

This is my exhibition.  

It exhibits every individual projects and studio work along this semester. Feel glad and pity at the same time

 It is not the best but at least it is all my hard work.  At  last, everything is paid off. That is my exhibition of projects and also my every single bitter sweet moment.

 

PORTFOLIO !!!

 

 

My portfolio is case which is square in shape, with a golden logo badge at the front cover and a world tallest building landscape view sketching at behind. This portfolio will accompany me to explore in architecture world and lead me into this field. Building sketches at behind symbolize that is my passion, ambition and dream, and I carry it by my own hand. Now, I’m ready for semester 2 and my future.

project 10 : academic visit

What i can said is due to insufficient bus
I didn't join the melacca trip.

so nvm, i still can sketch those unique melacca architecture and elements which have a kind of diversity and combination of different religion and races and historical background such as baba nyonya house, A'famosa, st.paul church and etc. I deeply appreciate the heritage and culture of melacca.

project 9: Pavillion

when i knew this new assignment,

I stunned!  WOW!! 

Awesome!!!!

but, it is very very tough project.....

we not only need to design, but at the same time need to concern about the other factors like services, green building element, cost, site analysis, and sustainability.. Instead  of idea about design, what we need is TEAMWORK..

so , we start from design idea.

first come out with my group leader Syamira  idea: H2O, bamboo houses.

2nd is Nigel's idea  : "pucuk rebung" , smart water catchment system roof.

3rd is my idea: bird. which symbolize freedom, we are those bird fly toward the future with our dream.

so at last we combined pucuk rebung and bird's "wing" design. with bamboo shading.

YEAH !! done ! 

but then

IDEA KENA BANNED....   =.=

so what to do -------------- REDESIGN la!

so , we start using google sketch up ( a brilliant invention) 

still using bird concept.

so this is our final product !!!

"wow!!" our QS Zang Rong exclaimed when he saw.

Nigel said this call " deconstructivism" which means ideas of fragmentation, an interest in manipulating ideas of a structure's surface or skin, non-rectilinear shapes which serve to distort and dislocate some of the elements of architecture, such as structure and envelope.

The idea is start from flight.

We are the student who are preparing our wings to fly..

then transformation

to get ready for future, we should transform now as the vision of USM

At last is sustainability

Not only success at current period, our passion and dreams must sustained in the future

sounds great!! so we decided to use this design.

then we started other jobs like : interior design, take measurement on the site ( the most interesting part), figure those buiding material, draw on the board, draw the orthographic projection ( my part ^^) , and 

BUILD THE MODEL!! ( the freaking toughest part in the whole project!! and i was the one who did it , OMG )

So, i did 3 model totally. 1 is draft, another one not satisfied , last 1 was the correct and nice with the interior part. special credit to syamira who help me to build the 2nd model until the another morning, nigel and zang rong who help me to do the interior part. 

i was so obsessed with doing the model, even one of my group member, Izzatie said : " did u realised that u hold the model for almost everyday? "  oh ? did i? may be.. because i really feel stressful when other groups model are so nice, and i took the responsibility  of it. So i must do my best for the sake of this group

after 3 week struggling with the model, drawing and report,

we finished everything !!! 

 

 

we had our presentation session again....

That day Nigel was so handsome XD, and everyone was impressed by his way of presenting idea. 

so that is the end of the story.

at last our hard work paid off!! 

YEAH =)

  

In conclusion,

this is our laaaaaaaaaaaast group work project....

sad.

sincerely, i am really glad and feel lucky to be in this group. i appreciate every moment of we be together. we paint, draw, eat, think, play, laugh, walk, watch youtube, sleep, sacrifice, struggle, built model, 

and watch the sunrise together.

Although sometime we might not agree with each other then have a small quarrel,

but nevermind, every single moment will be our most precious moment in this group !

i am really very enjoy groupwork in this sem.

i <3 my group!   =)
